The guidebook is now free!

Our guidebook is now available only as a PDF file. It is eighty-eight pages long, and it has ten maps,  some drawings, and a number of black and white photographs. It works well on iPads and other tablets. Our current edition was updated in 2015, with a few minor updates in 2022. Travelers who prefer a print version can have it printed and spiral bound at a copy shop for less than $10.

Because we made the last significant update to the guidebook in 2015 and do not plan future updates, we are now offering the book free of charge. Most of its contents do not go out of date and dozens of travelers over the years have told us (see testimonials) they found the book to be a wonderful resource, so we plan to continue to make it available without charge.
